Boxing Match Ends in a Draw!
The ring was set as fans flocked in for the highly anticipated match between boxing legends, Killer Karis and Cut-throat Curtis. Both athletes came to the ring in top condition and ready to face their opponent.
The betting firm of F & A Hopes, stated for the press that wages were at an all time high, although split between the contenders.
The 6 Round Match got underway with the roar of the crowd! Ultimately, Rounds 1, 3, and 5 were awarded to Killer Karis, and Rounds 2, 4 and 6 were awarded to Cut-throat Curtis, thus completing the match at a draw. Judges were amazed at the agility and cunning form of both contenders.
A rematch is highly anticipated. Watch your local news for future announcements.
This all started when after Kimberly and I finished watching The Other Boleyn Girl, I sent Karis a text message joking about the death of Anne Boleyn. The text was this: “The Other Boleyn Girl is a decent movie. Did you know she dies in the end?” To my amazement Karis must have fell asleep in school during the Tudor period of history. So I figured I’d share a few more historic facts that Karis doesn’t know.
Just some information that Karis probably doesn’t know or was mistaken because she’d rather learn history from fiction.
Love ya, Sis!!
UPDATE 4:56PM: I was informed that there could be a number of historic facts that Karis doesn’t know. Feel free to add a few in the comments. Like Jonas Salk…inventor of the polio vaccine.
I don’t know why I find these weird things about crazy mothers and their crazy antics, but I get a feed everyday from Cool Tools. This site normally offers different useful tools everyday that many times are really cool things…hence the name Cool Tools. But today’s post was wild, a little off the beaten path.
Today’s post was on HypnoBirthing. According to the site HypnoBirthing is:
Hypnobirthing is a technique that requires meditation, practice, and a quiet atmosphere during labor and delivery. No drugs are used and if done correctly, women who use the technique are said to experience little pain. Overall, it promotes transcending pain so a woman can experience birthing as other animals do. If you think about a cat, a deer, or any other mammal, during birth you would notice how quiet and calm they are. Our bodies are designed for this process, and hypnobirthing methods, including visualization, meditation, exercises and positions like the "Polar Bear" and "Leaping Frog," empower a woman with this reminder.
The Cool Tools site has some excerpts from the book, and illustrates the craziness that people are doing these days. It also will have a link to the Diaper Free book that is what I posted on last time.
